Saturday Reminders—8/5/17

I am on the road once again this week, I am about to pack up from a few days here in Champagne to head south to the lovely town of Dijon for a few days in Burgundy. The trip has been great thus far with the right mix of winery visits and touristy stuff (nothing says “tourist” like a trip to Disneyland Paris, does it?).

Much more of the same is on the slate for the next few days (although I doubt there will be any more roller coasters), before it is back up to Paris for a night before heading back to sweltering Houston.

I only have one reminder today, although it is an important one:

  • Voting is open and ongoing for the latest Monthly Wine Writing Challenge (#MWWC34), but it closes at midnight on Monday. If you have not already, take some time this weekend to read all the entries HERE and then cast your vote HERE (or simply click on the VOTE button below).

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
