Ciao!

I am here on a mountain side in Sicily, just outside of Palermo with just a few minutes before heading off to another meal where I will no doubt feel incredibly guilty as I can’t stop myself from over-indulging. I have found that there is just enough time in between meals for the guilt to subside before diving in yet again.

Before I head down to lunch, though, I have a couple of reminders for you:

• It seems as though every week there is a new disaster and it is no doubt overwhelming to many. Hurricane Harvey seems like a decade ago, but there are still people struggling to recover. Thus, I have set up a donation page with Texas Children’s Hospital to help the families with extremely sick children whose homes have been severely damaged by the storm. 100% of the donations go directly to the families (full disclosure: my wife is the Director of the Palliative Care team at the hospital).
