Saturday Reminders—10/7/17

I am back in the fine state of Texas this weekend after a few days in Bordeaux and about to get right back into “normal” life as I need to take my younger son to his flag football game, then help my in-laws move into their new home here in our neighborhood, and then watch more than my fair share of college football and drink a bottle (or three) of wine, adjusting to the reality of my new neighbors.

Before I get my day started, though, here are a couple of reminders for you:

  • It is time to vote in this month’s Monthly Wine Writing Challenge. All the information can be found HERE.
  • It is also time to start thinking about the holiday season (yeah, I know) and every year I coordinate a Secret Wino exchange if interested in joining in, information can be found HERE.

Have a Safe Saturday!

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
