Saturday Reminders—10/28/17

Well, today I had planned to get up fairly early and head out on my bike since I have not been out on the road for almost a week (a new puppy tends to eat up a bunch of time), but when I went outside and saw my breath, well, plans changed. Instead, I might just build that basketball hoop that I bought for the boys a while ago. Or maybe washing the car. And I might even install the new shower head that has been on my “honey-do” list for some time now. I will decide all of that momentarily after I sit here on the couch for a while, watching college football.

Before I get my day started, though, here are a couple of reminders for you:

  • The latest Monthly Wine Writing Challenge (#MWWC36) is up and running and while the deadline is still a few weeks off, it is never too early to get writing. All the information can be found HERE.
  • It is also time to start thinking about the holiday season (yeah, I know) and every year I coordinate a Secret Wino exchange if interested in joining in, this is the last weekend to sign up and all the information can be found HERE.

Have a Safe Saturday!

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
