I Need Your Vote!

I’ve been nominated for the 2018 Millésima Wine Blog Awards for an article I wrote this year about the incredible story surrounding Brooks Winery. I am one of three finalists and the winner is determined by a vote on Facebook. Currently, I am getting crushed by a millennial who is no doubt much more social media savvy than am I (but he is also a very nice guy).

So, if you could find 30 seconds in your day to vote for me (it is only three clicks, and requires you to enter no information), I would greatly appreciate it!

You can vote HERE from home, from work, and on your phone (it is an IP based vote)!

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

  5. I voted on Monday. Here is the advise I gave Jeff Burrows the 1st year he was nominated and lost. Unfortunately for another week or two you need to tweet and FB your need for votes to death. Don’t worry about annoying people, we all have short memories. But as you know whoever wins is solely based on votes. Popularity contests stink but in this case its worth it. Beg, borrow, and annoy as much as you can until the voting ends.
