Saturday Reminders—11/24/18

Today is a fairly big day as my favorite college football team plays their hated rival and for the first time in a long time, my team is expected to lose. Even when I “knew” my team would win, the day has been particularly stressful–I grew up in “enemy” territory but maintained my allegiance despite the endless taunting and bullying (my weak-souled brother, however, turned to the dark side several years ago and is now and über-obnoxious partisan for the wrong team). To prepare for the stress (and probable negative outcome), I am headed out for a ride, but before I go, I have a single reminder for you:

  • I will be in San Francisco in January for the Zinfandel Experience (ZinEx), and the kind people at ZAP (Zinfandel Advocates and Producers) have put together a great package for my readers to join me. You can get all the details HERE.

Have a Safe Saturday!

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

Enjoy your time at the ultimate Zin fest. One question – which rivalry game?
