Why does it seem as if the weekend is always much busier than the work week? Today I am  off to the butcher, then the grocer, the boys have Taekwondo, then haircuts, followed by a basketball game (which they will lose), then a dinner party. At some point I also “need” to squeeze a ride in on this cold and dreary day.

I know, first world problems.

Before I tackle them, however, I have a couple of announcements for you:

• I am somewhat loathe to mention this (but my wife says I must, so…) but this week I was included in the list of the Top 20 Wine Influencers of 2019. I am not sure what an influencer is, exactly, but I must be fairly good at it since I made it up to #7:

• I will be in New York City the first week of March for a couple of events, so I wanted to reach out to my friends in my third favorite city (sorry NYC, but I have to put Paris and Philly ahead of you) to see if anyone might want to pull a cork or two while I am there.
