Sundays Are For Sebastian Revisited (#33)

I am on the road once again this week, thus, as I normally do when traveling, I revisit a Sundays are for Sebastian. This one comes from about five years ago….

Several months ago, I started a new weekly theme: Sundays Are For Sebastian. Sebastian is my five-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

In the car, we often play “Name the Artist.” I give the boys three choices, and they guess. Today, “Ventura Highway” came on.

Me: “Is it Europe, America, or Asia.”

Sebastian: ‘”Slurp it.”

Me: “You mean ‘Europe’?”

Seb: “Yup, that’s what I said.”

Nathan: “Asia?”

Me: “The answer is ‘America'”

Seba: “Yes!”

Nathan: “You got it wrong.”

Seba: “No I didn’t, I changed my answer.”

Nathan: “When?!?”

Seba: “After Daddy said who it was.”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
