Sundays Are For Sebastian #252

Sebastian is my ten-year-old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Not too long ago, Sebastian and I went to see the new Men in Black movie. As the credits ran, Sebastian insisted on staying to the end.

Me: “Why do you want to stay?”

Seba: “The NBA guys in the ads–they were not in the movie, there must be a scene with them!”

Me: “It was just an ad.”

Seba: “What does that mean?”

Me: “It was just an ad—to get people to go see the movie.”

Seba: “Oh, like clickbait?”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
