I am on the road this weekend, but it has nothing to do with wine (other than it being consumed, of course). I am in Columbus, Ohio for a football game. The game turned out well, and I will be heading back to the airport to return to Houston momentarily. Before I pack up and Uber out, here is a Sundays Are For Sebastian from three years ago when Sebastian was eight.
Sebastian is my eight-year-old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
I overheard the boys joking around, testing out their “smack talk” and Nathan was trying to intimidate his younger brother. Immediately after Sebastian refused to acquiesce to his brother’s demands, Nathan puffed out his chest and offered forth a proclamation….
Nathan: “I am going to crush your hopes and dreams!”
Without hesitating, Sebastian responded confidently to his brother’s bellicose assertion….
Sebastian: “Ha! I don’t have any hopes and dreams! Joke’s on you!”
