Weekends normally mean trying to find a little time to get outside for a ride, but there is little chance for that today. This Saturday is going to be all about basketball. First, at 11:00, I need to head across town for Nathan’s High School Varsity game (a game they really do not have a great chance of winning). The game should end around 2:00 at which point I need to race home, drop off Nathan, pick up Sebastian, and travel about 45 minutes north for the start of his sixth-grade basketball tournament that starts at 3:00. The first of three games, the last of which will likely end at 9:00 p.m. Before I head out for my “joyous” day, here is a reminder for you:
- Pinot in the City comes to Houston this week! The highlight is the tasting at 6:30 Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park. There will be 60 Pinot Noir producers from the Willamette Valley pouring their various Pinot Noirs. I tasted many of the wines this past December, and I can assure you the wines are outstanding! There are a few tickets available–but only a few! Click HERE for more information.
That’s all I have today—have a great and safe Saturday!
Basketball sounds like a pretty good weekend to me. Enjoy!
