Today is a fairly big day for me as I will be tasting through 75, yes 75 American True Rosés this afternoon along with two other wine writers from the Houston area. I have mapped it out in my house to enable social distancing (which really means physical distancing, a pet peeve of mine), and I limited it to just two others this year to minimize any possibilities of infection.

Here’s what about 50 rosés look like from a couple of years ago.
While I prepare for all that rosé, here are a couple of videos for you to watch. The first comes from Stoller Family Estate, a winery in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, which recently released this fantastic video about their re-opening to the public.
The second involves my incredible wife and a video produced by the United Nations Foundation to raise funds for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. You likely can’t see her, but she is playing her cello in one of the tiny boxes along with other members of the Texas Medical Center Orchestra. If so inclined, in the upper right, there is a link to donate to the effort.
