Sundays Are For Sebastian Revisited (#238)

This week, we took a little “staycation” to Hot Springs, Arkansas, so I decided to repost a Sundays Are For Sebastian from last year…

Sebastian is my ten-year-old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

From time to time, I quiz the boys on a variety of topics. A few days ago, we were playing the state capital game.

Me: “Arkansas.”

Seba: “I’m going to hit you in the head with a big tree.”

Me: “Huh?”

Seba: “It helps me remember. It’s opposites.”

Me: “What? There is no opposite to ‘tree.’”

Seba: “Yes there is! Rock!”

Me: “So what is the capital?”

Seba: “Small Rock?”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
