Have you ever wondered how wineries get those ribbons and medals that they prominently display in their tasting rooms? What do they mean? How easy are they to get?
Well, if you are free on Thursday, at 6 p.m. Eastern (5 p.m. Central, 3:00 p.m. Pacific), come to find out! I have been honored by being a part of a panel hosted by the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance to discuss wine competitions.
As many of you know, I have been involved with one of the largest wine competitions in the country, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s Rodeo Uncorked! for several years now. (As an FYI, this year’s competition, the judging for which takes place in November, is still a go, at least for now.)
If you have an hour to kill or are really dying to have another excuse to use Zoom, use this LINK to participate (Passcode: 813970 ) or it will also be accessible via the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance page on Facebook. I will be there with three great people and good friends, Chris Sawyer, Tim McDonald, and Sarah Tracey (along with my good buddy Chris Taranto of the Paso Wine Alliance).
