Sundays Are For Sebastian #307

Sebastian is our twelve-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Seba was doing a history project on the early life of Leonardo da Vinci. My wife tried to help.

My wife: “Where was he born?”

Seba: “In Tuscany, near Vinci, in 1452.”

My wife: “Did you find a picture of the town?”

Seba: “Not from 1452.”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
