Sundays Are For Sebastian (and Nathan) #319

Sebastian is our thirteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people. Nathan is now eighteen and in his first year of college in Ohio.

Nathan is in his first year at college and is now home for a couple of weeks for winter break. This has led to some fresh new exchanges (which is good since my reserves for Sundays Are For Sebastian were running quite low), including this one around the holiday table…

Me: “What is the capital of Iceland.”

Sebastian: “Greenland.”

Nathan: “No, you moron, it’s Iceland City! Boom!”

My wife: “Reki something?”

Sebastian: “Reki Tiki Tavi!”

Me: “Pass the stuffing please.”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
