Sundays Are For Sebastian #321

Sebastian is our thirteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people. Nathan is now eighteen and in his first year of college in Ohio.

Sebastian’s brother, Nathan, is in his first year at college and was home for a couple of weeks for winter break. On one of our many movie nights while he was home, we opted for Forrest Gump, which I was shocked to learn that neither of the boys had ever seen. Just as the scene about the Watergate break in had finished, Nathan, who for some reason had control of the remote, paused the movie…

Nathan (dirested at Sebastian): “You know what Watergate was, right?”

Sebastian: “When they tried to gate the water?”

Me: “Press play!’

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
