Sundays Are For Nathan #14

While this space is usually used to recount the utterances of our younger son, Sebastian, today the quip is from our older boy. Nathan now 18, is 6’4″, a freshman in college and finds his parents to be extremely un-cool.

Nathan called recently and was discussing with his brother about possibly selling some of their video games, those that have gone unused for years. Not being anywhere close to a “gamer” I asked a few questions for clarification.

Nathan was painstakingly describing to his brother which of two items they were to sell. When I was asked why he was going into such detail, he responded:

“Because they are identical and different.”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
