Sundays Are For Sebastian Revisited (#65)

This week, I am in Paris for a few days and since it has been a while since I have been to France, my French is a little rusty. Thus, I felt this was a good Sundays Are For Sebastian to revisit (which I always do while on the road). This one comes from eight years ago, when Seba was five.

Sebastian is my five-year-old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Sebastian has been in a French immersion school for three years now (he just finished Kindergarten). The other day he said to his mother (who has picked up quite a bit of the language as the result of having our two boys go there):

Sebastian: “Mommy, I am going to teach you French!”

Tammy: “That’s great! Why?”

Seba: “‘Cause your French stinks.”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
