This weekend, I am in Dalls for a few days for Sebastian’s basketball tournament (which did not go all that well). Thus, as I usually do while away from home, I revisit a Sundays Are For Sebastian. This one comes from four years ago, when Seba was nine.
Sebastian is my nine-year-old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
We were watching the Spiderman Movie and there was a tense scene when Spidey was receiving information from his classmate who was seated at a computer in their school, helping Spiderman track the bad guys. Suddenly, said friend was confronted by a teacher at the school who immediately asked him what he was doing at the computer when there was a class dance going on, and he responded bluntly:
“Porn, I am watching porn.”
My wife and I, in tandem, erupt in laughter. A second or two later, Sebastian starts laughing as well.
After a short chuckle, Sebastian stopped and asked: “Wait, what’s porn?”
My wife: “Ask your father.”
Me (simultaneously with her statement): “Ask your mother.”
Then we both quickly left the room.
