Sundays Are For Sebastian #336

Sebastian is our thirteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Nathan, Sebastian’s older brother, is home for the summer and as a result, there have been a lot more interactions regarding random trivia. It was just a normal night at the dinner table….

Me: “What does the ‘M’ stand for in Richard M. Nixon? Go.”

Me (after two solidly blank stares): “Hint: it’s a character in the Simpsons.”

Nathan: “Marge.”

Sebastian (after clearly staring at his phone): “Milhouse??”

Me: “Did you Google the Simpsons or Nixon?”

Seba: “The Simpsons.”

The three of us with my mom a few months ago….

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
