Sundays Are For Sebastian #338

Sebastian is our thirteen fourteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Over the summer, we went on a bike trip through the Loire Valley in France. After the bike trip, we went back up to Paris to spend a few days with friends and see a few sites.

One of those sites was the Arc de Triomphe, under which is France’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier….

Me: “See that flame? That is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.”

Sebastian: “Who’s the soldier?”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
