Sundays Are For Sebastian #352

Sebastian is our fourteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Other than for meals and going to school, Sebastian rarely ventures out of his room these days. Between homework, sleep, snap-chatting his girlfriend, and who knows what else that I’d rather not think about, most of his world is confined to a 10×12 room on the second floor.

On one occasion when he actually ventured outside his room…

Me: “You have become quite the hermit.”

[Pause]

Seba: “What? You mean like the muppet?”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
