Another Publication

Over the weekend, the new edition of Spring Branch Plus (or SB+) landed in my mailbox. Not necessarily a noteworthy occurrence since that has been happening every month for the last year or so. What is a bit different is the May issue includes an article by yours truly.

While no one will confuse SB+ for the New Yorker, it is nonetheless exciting for me as the publication lands in about 80,000 mailboxes, all within a couple miles of my home.

Today also marks the publication of the Fort Bend Focus, a similar publication based in Fort Bend County, Texas with a slightly bigger circulation, and for which I have been writing for close to a year now.

So click on either of the two images in this post to read my latest foray into “print journalism” (no need to read both, though, since they are exactly the same).

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
