Sundays Are For Sebastian #400

Sebastian is our sixteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

We were watching a football game. The game winning field goal bounced off the upright and went through the uprights, ending the game. The announcer was amazed, claiming that the upright is about as wide as a dollar bill….

Me: “I didn’t realize…”

Sebastian: “There is no way!” (as he holds his forefinger and thumb up, almost together, signifying the thickness of a dollar bill).

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

That’s actually really funny. I would never have thought of that either – and I was watching the same game and remembered the comment on air! Came here from Cellar Tracker; I’ll keep checking this out. Happy weekend!
