A quick update: things here in Houston are getting back to normal (the new COVID-normal, that is). Power and heat are back on, the water has been restored (although we are still under a boiling directive), I took my first shower in almost a week, and it looks like the temperature today will be back to what we expect in the winter—70s and sunny. A great day for a ride! Thank you all for your concern and messages! Who knew that Texas is actually a third world country?
Sebastian our my twelve-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
The other day, as they often do, they were playing another round of “Random Trivia.”
Nathan: “Who was the first person on the moon?”
Seba: “Armstrong!”
Nathan: “Wow, I’m impressed! What was his first name?”
Seba looks at me and I almost immediately drop to one knee, to try to give him a hint.
Sebastian: “Larry?”
Nathan: “Dude! he just gave you the biggest hint! He took a knee, he was kneeling! And you say Larry?? Who was the second person on the moon”
Seba: “Buzz Aldrin.”
Nathan: “You can answer that queston, but not the easier one about Armstrong’s first name??”

Sebastian went in to get braces this week. Here is the before….
