Today, we awoke again with no power, now past 30 hours with no heat. The water is gone as well and we are on our last few percentages of stored power in our phones and laptops. So this might be my last post until power is restored.
It has stopped snowing at least (but more is forecast for tomorrow) but the temperature is down to 11 degrees (-12C) and won’t be above freezing for at least another 30 hours according to the forecast.
So we’ve got that going for us, which is nice.
The boys are in surprisingly good spirits despite the fact that this is actually vacation for them—they would have much preferred all this while school was in session.
So we are hanging in there, much more worried about those who are less fortunate.
What time am I allowed to start drinking?
