Sebastian is our twelve-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
It was (once again) riddle time…
Nathan: “What needs to be broken before you can use it?”
Seba: “Well, it’s one of two things. (Pause). One of those light stick things that you have to crack to have it light up.”
Nathan: “Um no. What is your other guess?”
Seba: “Ummm.”
Me: “Sebastian, can you get me the wine from the fridge? It’s next to the eggs.”
Seba: “Dad, be quiet, you just made me forget what I was thinking! What wine do you want?”
Me: “The bottle next to the EGGS.”
Seba: “There is no wine next to the eggs.”
Me: “I give up.”
