Bubble Trouble?

HatonI need not remind you that next week is New Year’s Eve–the one night of the year when everyone is thinking about drinking a little champagne. Trying to find the right bottle to buy can be a little intimidating, so I wrote an article over on PA Vine Co. to try and help you sort things out. Go check it out and let me know what you think!

Happy New Year everyone!

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

I am going out for the big bash and the deal includes a bottle of champagne (probably whatever they could get a deal on) and the ultimate safety feature, a room at the hotel where the party is.

  3. I sparkle it up as often as physically possible. I am enjoying the range, not to mention the prices, of champagnes so taking full advantage while in France, I’m also partial to the Loire Valley cremants, must try more of the Alsace ones 😀

  4. Great post, and awesome finds, too (says I, you know what I mean). We’re stocked up on a cava for New Year’s.

  5. We drink a lot of Champagne in our house. It is our ‘House White Wine’.
And we keep a few bottles of everyday Prosecco on hand for those who haven’t acquired a taste for the good stuff yet.

Cheers & Happy New year to you!
