A few weeks ago, I started a new weekly theme: Sundays are for Sebastian. Sebastian is my four year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people. Nonetheless, here is another gem:
My wife and I have been incapacitated for the better part of the week with the flu, but it has thus far bypassed the boys. Today, however, Sebastian seems to have come down with a mean case of diarrhea (which was not a part of either of our ailments). After school, my wife made it clear that under no circumstances could he touch anything. He was scolded a couple of times for not heeding his mother’s dictum. A bit wounded, he skulked over to me. After a moment he looked up to me and asked:
“Can I touch myself?”

Hahaha priceless!

The trees are gorgeous, but your parking situation gives me anxiety. Yikes!

The trees are stunning and parking is not that bad….

I have only had to parallel park a few times in my life. My husband lived in SF for a long time, so I will get out of the car and let him do the parallel parking if necessary. I’m in awe of those who can do it without losing their minds. 🙂

Hilarious! The other night we went out to dinner and I pulled into a place that literally had one inch in front ant three in the back. I was going to take pictures, but my wife thought that was obnoxious….

When I lived in Boston, we would call it Braille parking: backup til you “touch”, pull forward til you “touch (or bump them forward)”, repeat until snuggly into the spot.

Similar here–we call it “Park by Feel”
