Several months ago, I started a new weekly theme: Sundays Are For Sebastian. Sebastian is my five year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
Driving in the car today, the song “Funkytown” came on the radio. Sebastian, always quick to pick up on a new tune, started singing the chorus. The problem? He was leaving out the first ‘n’ in the song’s title.
Me: “No Seba, it’s ‘FuNkytown'”
Sebastian: “Funkytown, Fu*kytown, what’s the difference?”

I’m thinking give him a couple cans of spray paint and an abandoned building wall. You may well have a budding artist… or rapper… or something creative. 🙂

The kid makes a good point, especially since, on Parenthood, Adam and Kristina Braverman do use the term Funkytown as a code word for F*ckytown…
