Sebastian is my five-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
Not too long ago, Nathan (my older son) found out about “Sundays for Sebastian” and was only slightly dismayed that there was not an equivalent for him. I told him that he has his own attributes, it was just that his brother has a knack for uttering some rather hysterical statements. Nathan readily agreed and asked if he could read the posts. He proceeded to go through them all, laughing loudly on numerous occasions. Near the end, Sebastian came home and was immediately interested in determining why his brother was losing his mind. Nathan explained, and at first, Sebastian was a little taken aback. I was worried that he would not want me to blog about him any more.
There was little need for worry as his brother showed him how to click through the posts on his own. In no time, he had made his way through them all.
No, Sebastian was not reading the posts (he could not read at the time).
He was looking at all the pictures of himself.
I think it’s fair to say we’ve all looked into a mirror… and smiled.

We have a very large mirror in our hallway and every single time he passes it, he pauses and looks at himself. Every. Single. Time. Whether happy, mad, tired, rushed. Every time.
