Sebastian is my five-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
While out shopping yesterday, Sebastian saw a sweatshirt with a rather menacing wolf head on it. He immediately recoiled in horror. I was worried that Sebastian, who still suffers from the occasional night terror, might have another rough night.
Me: “What’s the matter? Did that scare you?”
Sebastian: “No, not at all.”
[Pause]
“It’s just UGLY!”

When we lived in Los Angeles for a year sabbatical, I remember having a similar reaction when facing a few ladies who had lip enhancement surgery. ;-). Contrary to Sebastian , I had to control myself and act as if nothing had scared me to desth 😉

While I’m not over elated with this story, I did scroll for a solid five minutes to get to it.
