Monthly Wine Writing Challenge #12–The Results

The results are inIt has been a while since I was able to announce a winner to the Monthly Wine Writing Challeng, but this month was certainly worth the wait. In all, there were 16 entries, all themed around the concept of “local”.

And-the-Winner-IsTalk-a-Vino: Like A Kid In The Candy Store…

As the winner of this month’s challenge, Anatoli has the “honor” of choosing the topic for next month’s Challenge.

Congratulations to Anatoli, one of the stalwarts in the Challenge! I am sure he will concoct a rather devilish theme to have us all scratching our heads….

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

Wow, this was totally unexpected! Thank you to all the kind people who voted for my post, I’m very honored! Before I will chose the new theme I will have to consult Alton Brown, as an authority on the “devilish” entertainment – I will try to be worthy of Jeff’s expectations…
