Sebastian is my six-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
Sebastian: “Hey mommy, it’s almost Thanksgiving!”
My wife: “I know! Do you know why we have Thanksgiving?”
Seba: “Yup.”
[Pause]
“To kill and eat turkeys!”
My wife: “Well, no, not exactly. It’s so that we can say what we are thankful for.”
Seba: “What’s thankful?”
My wife: “It’s when your happy that you have something–what are you thankful for?”
Seba: “You and Daddy.”
My wife: “Anything else?”
Seba: “Trees [Pause] and animals.”
My wife: “AnyONE else?”
Seba: “Other people.”
My wife: What about your brother?”
[Pause]
Seba: “He is one of the ‘other people’.”

I like the spanking new uniform! Looks good!

He loves the dobok–would wear it to school if we would let him!

Oh he is at that age! Going to the Dojo is great for discipline and respect. My daughter made it all the way up to Purple 2 belt before she stopped because of school, dance, piano, etc.

(Nice horse stance by the way) Our son, Peter, ascended all the way to 2nd degree black belt and was an instructor in his school in the 8th grade. Go Sebastian!
