Monthly Wine Writing Challenge #13–The Results

The results are inWell, this month’s vote was certainly interesting. There were 16 entries for this month’s Challenge, all centered around the theme “Serendipity” which was chosen by last month’s winner, Talk-a-Vino. What made the vote interesting was that a) there were the fewest votes cast in the history of the contest and b) it was the closest vote (by far) in the history of the contest.

All told there were five entries within two votes of each other!

The five were: Walk and Wine, Sip On This Juice, Please Bring Me My Wine, Duff’s Wine, and yours truly, The Drunken Cyclist.

In the end, however, one stood (barely) above all the others….

As the winner of this month’s challenge, Bill has the “honor” of choosing the topic for next month’s Challenge.

    I am truly humbled. Thanks for all the congrats. The challenge now is to find a suitable theme. I will pass it on shortly. And big thanks to Jeff who, I am sure, didn’t realize that he was going to have to manage this friendly undertaking when he threw down the first challenge.
