My First Article for Snooth

A couple of months ago, I was contacted by the fine people at Snooth.com and they asked me if I would like to write an article for their fine site. Since they have a few million registered users and an email newsletter with about 600,000 subscribers, I thought it might be a good idea.

So, I submitted my article, which they seemed to like, and just yesterday, I got this in my email box:

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

    Congrats on the nice article! I like your wine suggestions. I’ve actually brought wine camping too. Except, I forgot the corkscrew. Yes, ultimate embarrassment for someone who works in wine. We got the bottles open eventually (you don’t want to know how). Since that event, there is not one, but two corkscrews in my camping box. Can’t be a bad girl scout again!
