So last week I was out in Mendocino camping and doing some wine tasting in Anderson Valley. This week I am down in Houston, Texas in a rather nice hotel, trying to figure out if we could actually move here. I’ll let you guess which weekend I prefer. I have a couple of reminders again this week:
1. So there has been a big managerial shake-up at Fare, the restaurant where I have been doing my wine dinners. Right now, I am not sure if they will continue. I will know more when I sit down with one of the owners next weekend.
2. The deadline for this month’s Monthly Wine Writing Challenge is Monday at midnight EDT (or thereabouts).
Last month , Elizabeth of Traveling Wine Chick, the winner of the last Monthly Wine Writing Challenge (#MWWC18), selected the theme for this month’s Challenge, #MWWC19:
All the details for this month’s Challenge can be found HERE.
Have a great Saturday folks!

Houston? Practically down the road from me.

I live in Arlington, Texas but there are many of us here in Texas that attend offlines throughout the triangle of Dallas, Houston and Austin/San Antonio.

Tomorrow, I write three posts, including #MWWC19! That’s my goal! Sorry to hear about your restaurant. And, well, I’d prefer a hotel (not camping) in Anderson Valley! It’s all about the humidity. Can’t you move here already? 🙂

Believe me, if my wife could get a job there…

If you move to Houston I can come visit you and film one of your epic “sabering” events. 😀 I have a brother and an aunt and uncle there, and my foodie pal Adam over at Unorthodox Epicure is bunking out there now too in an RV until their house. What a small world. Best of luck with your decision.

This popped up on my phone (and I did not see the previous comment) and I scrambled to my blog thinking I had made that “oops” I hate when I do that!
