Saturday Reminders (and Hurricane Harvey Update)—8/26/17

Well, Hurricane Harvey has hit our area of Houston and we are currently getting pelted by some heavy rain. Thus far, though, we still have electricity and have suffered no apparent damage to the house. From watching the footage on T.V., there are others who have it far worse than we do. We are located on the northwest side of Houston, and we expect to get hit with several bands of heavy rain over the next few days, but we stocked up over the last few days and should be O.K. for the near future.

Thanks for all of your kind thoughts and wishes I am going to try to give regular updates on my Facebook pages.

I also wanted to wish a very Happy Birthday to my younger son, Sebastian, who turns 9 years old today! He is fairly disappointed that we had to cancel his birthday party today, but hopefully we will be able to reschedule soon.
