Sundays Are For Sebastian (and Nathan) #197

Sebastian is my nine-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Nathan is our fourteen-year-old who occasionally engages in his own special encounters….

Nathan: “Who is the unknown soldier?”

Me: “That’s just it.”

Nathan: “What do you mean? Who is he?”

Me: “You’re not getting it. No one knows, that is the point.”

Nathan: “But wait, they have no idea who it is?”

Me: “Right.”

Nathan: “I still don’t get it.”

Me: “You hide it well.”

My two knuckleheads and me at Euro Disney.

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

That’s doing justice to Nathan. Yes, I understand that he is secretly hoping that there really is someone who knows the soldier personally. So sweet 🙂
