It is Sebastian’s birthday (he is ten today) and he could not be happier. He had some of his friends spend the night last night, after a day filled with Nerf gun fights, a mini-foosball tournament, and an afternoon at Dave and Busters (that place rakes in the cash). They all went to sleep well past midnight and woke before six, which means a very long day for all involved. Through it all, his brother, Nathan, has been a good big brother, helping out when necessary and glued to his phone when not.

Today the festivities continue with the opening of gifts, likely a movie (it is still far too hot to venture outside), and dinner at his grandparents.

And I am going to be in desperate need of a nap.
