Sundays Are For Sebastian Revisited (#114)

While I am not on the road this week (although I will be heading out for a bike ride shortly), I thought I would repost this version of Sundays Are For Sebastian from six years ago:

Sebastian is my six-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Me: “What do you guys want for dinner? Spaghetti, burritos, or salmon?”

Sebastian: “Burritos, Burritos, BURRITOS!!!”

There was then a slight pause as Nathan whispered something in Seba’s ear.

A Dejected Sebastian: “OK, Salmon, I guess…”

As he walked off, I called over Nathan, a bit angry with him for unduly influencing his brother.

Me: “Why did you tell him to change his mind? What is wrong with burritos?”

Nathan: “Nothing, I just told him that ‘Burritos’ were different than ‘Doritos’.”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
