Sundays Are For Sebastian #330

Sebastian is our thirteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.

Nathan recently concluded his first year at college and before I left to pick him up, I joked that we should charge him for staying with us over the summer.

Sebastian: “Yeah! $150 a night and I get 25%.”

Me: “OK, what’s 25% of $150 then?”

Seba:  “Ummm…”

Me: “That’s what I thought.”

Seba: “Let’s charge him $100 a night!”

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
