Thwarted by the Storm

While I had planned for a more substantial post this morning, Hurricane Beryl had other thoughts. We are all safe as of now but currently without power, listening to the intense winds and heavy rain compete for dominance outside.

Hopefully, power will be restored shortly (although I doubt it) and all will be back to normal soon.

For those in the storm’s path, be safe.

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

  1. My brother in Sugar Land lost power at 6 a.m. Hope ERCOT and the power crews can get power restored soon for everyone.

Looks like most of the outages are with Centerport
