My January (2025) Article is Out!

Well, the new year has not started the way one would want, at least for me, as I have been under the weather for a good two weeks now. Yeah, it stinks, to say the least, but I survived a trip to Las Vegas to see my wife’s family and hopefully will be on the upswing when I head to Austin tomorrow.

Hopefully, I will be able to get out on my bike here in the new year as I was not able to ride all that much since returning from France in October. Basketball always dominates my life in the winter, but never as much as it has this year as I have been trying to help the new coaching staff assimilate as quickly as possible and it’s exhausting, particularly given my “salary”.

Moving on.

For this month’s article, I once again tackle some wine related resolutions. This is a different set of resolutions from last year (which are still good resolutions, too), and I pole a little fun with the first one, so hopefully none are offended.

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.
