Sebastian is our thirteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
A few months ago, as we were driving up to drop Nathan off at college, he was playing a poker app.
Nathan: “Oh my gosh, I just lost all my chips to a guy who had a royal flush!”
Me: “Yeah, that’s pretty hard to beat.”
Seba: “Royal flush? What does that have to do with poker?”
Nathan: “You’re kidding, right?”
Seba: “I thought that is what they called toilets in castles.”
