Monthly Wine Writing Challenge 9 (#MWWC9): Time to Vote!

wine-stain1-3Well, it is time to vote! There were several last minute entries (people near and dear to my own style), pushing the grand total up to 25, which ties the all-time record. Sure, I nudged, prodded, pleaded, even cajoled, but I think you will agree that it makes for a better Challenge!

Being the data geek that I reluctantly admit to be, I put all of the submissions into a spreadsheet and did a little bit of analysis. I was going to ask a bunch of questions here, but I decided to hold off until tomorrow and use that as the basis of Wednesday’s quiz. Here is one brief question for you:

Who currently holds the longest active streak of consecutive admissions to the Challenge?

Here are all the articles in alphabetical order (by author). They have also been posted over on in more or less chronological order. You can also select #MWWC9 as the category and it will pull them all up (at least it should). I posted the poll to vote over there as well, which I think is best for future votes as well, but let me know if you disagree. You can vote for up to three articles.

If you have written a post and it is not on this list, you need to email me at jeff(at)thedrunkencyclist(dot)com

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

  1. I think there’s an error, you linked to my entry twice, once under my name and once under the Wine Raconteur’s… Anyway, thanks for hosting those contests !

Not to be anal, but it’s actually just Joy of Wine, not THE Joy of Wine. Cheers!

Thanks for the round up – Conoissaurus link seems broken.
