Interviewed by Jameson Fink at Grape Collective

Last week, I got an email from Jameson Fink, wine blogger extraordinaire (and former entrant in the Monthly Wine Writing Challenge) to do an interview for an article on Grape Collective where Jameson is a contributing editor.

The interview was a lot of fun (but the hardest part was submitting a photo, I must say), and you can check it out HERE.

Jameson also asked for my top ten restaurants in Philadelphia, and although he did not request that I limit it to BYOB restaurants, I did. As I have said here countless times, Philadelphia is a tough place for an oenophile to live, with the exception of the vibrant BYOB restaurant scene. You can see my list HERE.

One last note, be sure to vote for this month’s Monthly Wine Writing Challenge! You can do that HERE.

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

Awesome! I usually don’t care that much about this type of interview, as they rarely meet my expectations. Either the questions are silly, or the person being interviewed disappoints at some level. Not the case. I truly enjoyed it all…

particularly the “we only had 10 miles to go”… that will pump up my run this weekend. (I hope!)
