Sebastian is my six-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
Sebastian: “I am so stuffed. I can’t eat any more broccoli.”
Me: “So I guess that means you are too full for dessert?”
Sebastian: “No! It’s just my dinner belly that is stuffed, my dessert belly is starving.”
I like the way he thinks when it comes to dessert.

I have always been a firm believer in the second dessert stomach. Clearly, you’re the one in the wrong this time.

Wait, your siding with the six year-old? You might have kids some day and I will remember this moment!

My daughter used to say that, too. Now, she doesn’t even acknowledge any other stomach but the dessert one.

Uh oh. Is that the road down which we are headed?

Isn’t that the truth? There seems to always be some room for a little sweetness at the end of any meal, even if you stuffed yourself with…. BROCCOLI! 😉
