Well, the boys and I made it down to Orlando and to the hotel despite the unbelievably long taxi line and virtual absence of Uber at the Orlando airport. We are getting ready to head over to the Three Broomstix for breakfast before heading to Universal Studios for the day.

Nonetheless, I have a few reminders this Saturday:

1. Last month Jim of JVB Uncorked, last month’s winner, provided the theme for the new Monthly Wine Writing Challenge (#MWWC21). There have been several entries already (including yours truly), and the deadline is almost upon us (Monday, December 7th). You still have a bit of time to enter, but no more time to dilly-dally! 2. I will be hosting another wine dinner at our local restaurant, Fare Restaurant on Fairmount Avenue here in Philadelphia. It will be a five course meal (including desert), paired with five different sparkling wines from around the world for $75 plus tip. The dinner is scheduled for December 16th at 6:30.
3. As some of you may recall, I am a Spinning Instructor and once the weather changes to Fall, I start conducting wine tastings following a Friday evening class (the owner of the gym where I teach Spinning classes does not believe that people drink wine in the Summer). Well, the next of those such events is scheduled for December 18th at 7:00. So if you are in Philadelphia and would like to partake, drop me an email (jeff(at)thedrunkencyclist(dot)com).
